Join fellow All Ivy Plus alumni at the annual Penn Club Summer Tailgate, Pirates Game, and Food Drive at PNC Park on Sunday, August 6, 2017. Those who have attended in the past, know that this is a great get-together to reconnect with friends, make new ones, and have a really good time.
This year, we'll once again be doing a good deed at the same time by accepting canned and dry non-perishable goods for the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank (www.pittsburghfoodbank.org). If interested (completely voluntary!), just bring any canned goods or non-perishable items with you to the tailgate. Recommended items include high fiber cereals, jars of peanut butter, canned tuna, beans, pasta, or canned fruits & vegetables.

Look for the Red & Blue balloons located in the RED #5A parking lot across from the Honus Wagner Statue near the Home Plate entrance to PNC Park on West General Robinson Street, (tailgate location is different from last year). We hope to reserve a spot under the overpass in the rear of the lot, in case of rain. It's a private/paid VIP lot, so you'll need to plan to park elsewhere nearby, and walk over and or use UBER or LYFT.
Come for the high grade, high quality burgers & hot dogs, as well as vegetarian, vegan, and organic fare. We'll have fresh fruit, healthy snacks, soda, premium beer, and more, before heading over to PNC Park to cheer the Pirates on to victory.
A limited number of very good game seats in a section between home plate and first base, have been reserved for purchase on a first come, first serve basis. You will be able to pick up your pre-purchased tickets at the tailgate. Please purchase your tickets on-line at the link below as soon as possible, and before they are sold out (sale closes at Midnight August 4, 2017), or mail your check to Clint Champagne, Penn Club Treasurer (address below) and email me at [email protected]to confirm your mailed payment, by August 4, 2016.

Please note, on the Wharton Club of Western PA ticketing site, if you are not specifically a Wharton alumnus/alumna, you will need to register and sign in as a "Non-Alumni".
